Diversity in its many forms is a very huge focus for the organisation. It focuses on ensuring everyone feels like they are valued, and respected for who they are and that they belong. As an ethnic person, I have found it to be invaluable.

We have a dedicated diversity and inclusion team within People and Culture (HR department) and they ensure that the recruitment is fair and equitable. They also work on various initiatives to help bring awareness such as training, events and the establishment of communities such as the LGBTQ+ community that organise such things.

What does your company do to attract applicants from less privileged backgrounds?
The organisation encourages people from all different walks of life to apply for any roles they believe to be competent and capable of doing. The recruitment processes have been established to ensure there is little discrimination as possible and that all applicants are provided equal opportunities at a shot for the role.
