It's important that First Nations peoples are able to feel culturally safe to identify with who they are, their people, their land, their seas and their cultures.​ ​Our First Nations Inclusion Council act as advisors and champion First Nations cultural protocols. The Inclusion Council are responsible for:

  • Partnering with First Nations cultural communities to deliver mutually beneficial outcomes
  • Celebrate key cultural First Nations events that foster deeper relationships between First Nations peoples and other Australians
  • Role model within and outside of our industry our corporate social responsibilities with sustainable and tangible outcomes for First Nations peoples
  • Accountable for delivering Queensland Rail's First Nations Action Plan.
