Career Prospects at SW Accountants & Advisors

SW provides many promotion opportunities and I have seen that they much prefer to promote from within the firm rather than hire from the outside. They are fully supportive of the graduate's career development and I have heard from managers and seniors that promotions are common.

I think as long as you show interest in moving up the ranks and demonstrate you have the necessary skills and capabilities to perform a higher role, then you can easily move up the ranks as there are always opportunities to.

Its very possible to move up the ranks every year. but I think the only drawbacks is we have to follow the rank hierarchy we can move 2 level up

A clear and progressive promotion path is outlined to us on day 1, setting clear and concise expectations at each level. In addition the performance review and appraisal process is detailed an easy to follow.

I would want to be promoted to senior in near future

Sounds good from previous people, but not until I get promotion I can really comment on it

In accounting, there's a pretty clear direction for your career. Every 6-12 months they review salaries and roles.

I understand the career progression within my role and what I need to achieve in order to be promoted.

Promotions can occur every half year dependent on performance. However, it is more usual to occur annually.

Promotions happen twice, with partner roundtables in May and November, with promotions announced the following month.

The promotion possibilities are wide at our firm, as you can work your way up to partner if that is something you are interested in, you just have to ensure you are putting in the work to make this happen.
