We strive to create an open, balanced, inclusive and flexible workplace where all of our people can feel that they belong and are supported in order to be at their best. We’re proud of the progress that we have made to further gender equality and gender inclusivity, and we’re energised by the work that we have planned, in order to continue this journey of greater equity and inclusion for all. 

In 2022, we launched our refreshed Inclusion, Equity and Belonging Strategy (2022 – 25). Our Strategy outlines clear objectives for supporting distinct voices, and diverse experiences and driving an inclusive culture. Some of the things that we have committed to which support gender equity and inclusivity include:

  • 45% female representation in senior leadership roles by 2025.
  • Providing support and visibility to the work of our internal LGBTQ+ employee action group.
  • Bi-annual pay equity reviews.
  • Continued investment in our bespoke female leadership development program, IGNITE – Women Leading with Impact and Alumni group.
  • Building on the learnings and our opportunities as part of our Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) submission.
  • The continued celebration of key dates including International Women’s Day, International Day of Rural Women, IDAHOBIT Day and White Ribbon Day highlight the importance of gender-diverse voices and experiences.
