Check all vulnerabilities to the system. Help customers with enquires. Check software is running smoothly. Check firewalls are keeping the "bad people" out.

I triage, investigate, and remediate cyber security incidents as a member of the incident response team. I also perform proactive security such a threat hunting and creating new alerts and detections.

Tasks I complete are varied. There are some routine processes and tasks I need to complete but the majority of my work revolves around system defects and investigating issues.

I do a lot of BAU, which suites me well.

Working in Scrum Team. Data Migration. Meeting with stakeholders.

Data analysis and reporting/discussing results. Lots of programming related to data visualisation and analysis.

Doing jobs in the queue.

So far, I've completed tasks related to Queensland Health's networking equipment. I haven't been assigned to any projects yet.

The work I have completed is not what I imagined I'd be doing, but that isn't in a negative sense. I usually work on collating information and presenting it in a way that everyone will understand, alongside assisting the team in any other work they might need help with.

System administration, monitoring queues, answering client requests for information and assistance.

As a business analyst in the health system, we are often providing solutions to project business problems. Day-to-day could involve, but not limited to, responding to RFIs, working on artefacts (documentation) for the customer, meetings/workshops to elicit requirements, internal meetings to discuss direction moving forward, detail design activities, setting up meetings, minute documentation, process flow documentation.
