Woodford Correctional Centre is the largest correctional centre in Queensland and accommodates male prisoners. The centre has both a Maximum Security Unit and a purpose-built Safety Unit – accommodating some of the most complex and vulnerable male prisoners. The Senior Psychologist is responsible for the provision of high-level, specialist mental health assessment and intervention, and provides clinical supervision and leadership to a multidisciplinary team. The role will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team effectively integrating psychology perspectives with other operational perspectives to affect optimal outcomes for prisoners. Qualifications and Registration:

  • Bachelor’s degree (4 years) in psychology or behavioural science.
  • General registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
