Your Impact:
As a Psychologist at QCS, you'll play a crucial role in transforming lives. You'll worK within a multidisciplinary team, employing evidence-based assessments and brief interventions for adults facing challenges related to mental health, suicidality, cognitive impairment, or developmental disorders.
Essential Qualifications:
- Eligibility for registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- If eligible for Provisional Psychologist registration, you must be on the 4+2 internship pathway or have completed an APAC accredited 5th year degree in psychology and be eligible for the 5+1 internship pathway.

- The largest male remand centre in Southeast Queensland, offering a fast-paced, dynamic, and assessment-focused environment, including a Maximum-Security Unit Brisbane Correctional Centre
- The primary reception centre for newly sentenced male prisoners in Southeast Queensland, including a Maximum-Security Unit.
Brisbane Correctional Centre
- The primary reception centre for newly sentenced male prisonsers in Southeast Queensland, including a Maximum-Security Unit.
Brisbane Women's Correctional Centre
- Southeast Queensland's primary reception centre for women, employing gender-responsive trauma-informed practice focused on positive rehabilitation outcomes for women and their children.
Wolston Correctional Centre
- Housing male prisoners classified as protection, with a focus on rehabilitation through programs, education, and employment.
