      As a Community Corrections case manager you will be responsible for managing offenders who require supervision within the community according to orders made by a court or the Parole Board Queensland.

      You will play a vital role in protecting the community as a member of one of Queensland's top public safety agencies. Working as part of a dedicated team, you will act as an agent of change to address offending behavior and encourage rehabilitation, making our communities safer by reducing reoffending. You will serve Queensland with pride in a challenging and dynamic work environment, and will conduct your work with honour, accountability and transparency.

      Experience and skills we are looking for:

      • Interpersonal and teamwork skills
      • Conflict management and negotiation
      • Problem solving and judgement
      • Communication (written and verbal)
      • Policy application (procedures and guidelines)
      • Drive and commitment, self-management and resilience
      • Possession of a degree relevant for the human services or criminology fields
      • Final year students are encouraged to apply for temporary vacancies to be assessed for a merit based list for future permanent appointment once full completion and receipt of formal degree is provided from a recognised tertiary institution.
