Recruitment Process

Candidates are asked to provide a cover letter detailing how they meet the selection criteria detailed in the job advertisement together with an up to date copy of their CV.

Our recruitment process is comprehensive to enable ourselves and candidates to evaluate from the outset the right fit and ascertain commitment levels early on. The process has 4 stages and shortlisting is conducted at each interval. Phone screen, first interview, psychometric assessment and second interview. Candidates who are successful after the second interview stage will be asked to provide details of three professional referees and these can include university referees.

  • Phone screen
  • The first interview – with a hiring manager; in person is preferred
  • Psychometric assessment – online assessment completed at a local office
  • The Second interview – with a different hiring manager, in person is preferred.
  • Reference checks – we run a verbal reference check with 3 previous managers, supervisors or University professors/tutors. These do not need to be industry-specific, referees from part-time or causal employment are appropriate for graduates.
