Leaders in the delivery of community based aged care, allied health, wellbeing, disability and outreach services in remote Australia since 1993, North and West Remote Health (NWRH) harnesses the diversity, energy and professionalism of a large team of multidisciplinary health care professionals delivering comprehensive healthcare services in remote and indigenous communities across Australia.

This dynamic and evolving organisation continues to break new ground in the provision of direct health services and preventative health programs and is a leading advocate for rural and remote health care.

Today NWRH are distinguished as a significant Commonwealth and State Government contracted primary health care organisation, servicing over 50 communities across remote, rural and regional areas of Australia.

What to expect

If you are working in service delivery you will have resources and training to ensure your safety and effectiveness for remote work. This includes 4WD driving skills, suitably equipped long-range vehicles, satellites phones and mobile information technology, first-aid training and management support to get the job done.

Candidates from all experience levels are encouraged to apply, provided you are currently registered, or eligible to obtain registration with AHPRA. This includes recent graduates and students in their final year of studies who are looking for a role to step into after graduation. It won't always be easy - the NWRH team often work in rural and remote communities and cover a lot of distance, as one of the only organisations in the area providing these services.

You'll be joining a fantastic support network, from your colleagues in your home base location to the wider NWRH team of allied health or mental health professionals (depending on your discipline).

In return for your hard work and dedication, you'll receive an attractive salary package starting at $88,680 for a Graduate, PLUS a range of additional benefits (if applicable), including:

  • Up to $15,900 salary sacrificing;
  • Annual leave loading of 17.5%;
  • 5 weeks annual leave; and
  • Relocation and accommodation assistance!
