8.7
8.7 rating for Management, based on 31 reviews
How accessible are managers and do they make good mentors? You may want to address internal communication, performance feedback or praise and recognition.
The managers and leadership team are so caring and supportive. I can go to them any time I need, and they are happy to help me or talk. We are all about open communication between each other and our clients because the more information we have, the better our audits are, better our relationships and more importantly, the larger the value we can add to TMR.

Managers are always there to speak to them anytime you want; at least once a month general meeting with all the teams, plus team meetings and as well one to one meeting every six-month to check on your personal developments. I have great mentors whom I can get to them any time. Internal communication you can call anytime as long you see a green light next to their name, and feedback is guaranteed as long you show improvement interest. Not to forget, recognition of your performance can be announced on weekly team's manager email plus a certificate recognition of your outstanding performance on yearly base.

All my managers and the people I work with are amazing and give me great advice they do not gatekeep anything and really care about my career progression within TMR.

Some are great mentors however some can be too old school, where they are set to their own way and can be stubborn to new modern ideas.

Managers are accessible at most times but they are really busy but usually still have time for you. My managers are both really good mentors and communicate with the team really well. They also put a lot of effort into our EPDA's and give praise when needed

In environment of the site-o?ce allows for easy communication and feedback with managers on all levels, as such I have little doubt that any manager would provide unhelpful feedback with all mangers acting as helpful mentors (both during work-orientated tasks and career-wise). Given the nature of the workplace and environment internal communication is handled both formally (emails, weekly& fortnightly meetings) as well as informally (MS teams messaging, calls, desk chats etc.) with often multiple people involved to enable cohesion within the team.

Incredibly accessible. My manager works closely with the team, so informal discussions are always on the table. One-on-one discussions are scheduled fortnightly, and this is a time for formal recognition, feedback, and for individual concerns to be flagged. Usually this proceeds in a cooperative and healthy manner. Weekly our team engages in a meeting held by my manager. In this time we discuss our priorities and individual focus for the week, and have access to the entire breadth of the team to iron out technical issues.

The managers are accessible everyday, in the office or when working from home. The managers are always accessible through teams and are always a phone call away. When it comes to internal communication, they will do weekly catchups to see what your accomplishments were or not for the week. They will always talk to you to see how they can help develop you during your career.

My manager is incredibly accessible, serving as excellent mentors. His approach to internal communication is open and effective. When it comes to performance feedback, praise, and recognition, he demonstrates a commendable balance, making the work environment positive and constructive.

The leadership team in my current position are excellent. They're very approachable. While praise is not readily given, it is always implied that the hard work is noticed.

Managers within TMR are good mentors, great coaches, communicate well and are clear. Performance feedback and praise are common. In the public service, performance conversations occur regularly - and not in a negative sense.
