In my role in Internal audit, I support the auditor's in completing audits. This can include data analysis, desktop research and analysis, communicating with different people across the organization, and other general admin. I also one of two Teammate admin officers (our audit and recommendations management system) which includes maintaining the system and helping to report on their progress. I also help managing the Internal Audit's Sharepioont and intranet pages. As you could tell. I do not have a standard day.

My role is: - Designing & checking existing design if it satisfies the standard. - work with asset team checking complains and existing assets performance, and if it is with in TMR's responsibility, then this task moves to testing its level of urgency and also if it requires temporary or permanent solution before requesting for fund through preparing its APB & PSI.

I work at the moment on crash investigations and Customer Communication Tools (CCT), solving questions from customers.

Business as Usual responsibilities - responding to customer enquiries; policy work - drafting discussion papers, preparing QandA's, attending parliament

I am doing some interesting research and am learning how to do environmental assessment report.

Maintaining and managing South coast electrical assets daily with safety as the utmost priority for commuters. Engaging with external and internal contractors daily to ensure ongoing projects are of the best quality

I currently have the opportunity to work in higher duties for an AO4 role and I am enjoying it so much, keeping me more busy than the grad role which has given me the opportunity to accrue time.

Day-to-day role includes working with more senior engineers to work on multi-billion dollar infrastructure projects and the processes of planning these projects and they impacts on the local and wider community.

I'm assigned work that is just beyond my capability, encouraging me to learn and apply myself, as well as work that is within my comfort. This balance works well for me.

Assisting team members in the delivery of options analyses, business cases, and other work regarding Translink network infrastructure.

Currently, I'm in the policy and planning team. One of my day-to-day responsibilities is championing the FPP register. Ensuring that all procurement activities are up-to-date before the reviewal and approval stages. That way all information is correct so that suppliers identify what future projects TMR will undergo so they could plan, prepare and tender for the projects.

At the workplace, you can acquire knowledge while actively contributing to projects that hold significance for the community. Incredibly fulfilling!

I feel like this will improve as I work more/ become full time.

The TMR graduate program has allowed me to rotate and gain exposure to different teams and environments within the department, enabling me to develop a wide range of skills and experiences. Currently, I have been working at RoadTek within the Maintenance team and have been involved in various small maintenance projects, including guardrail repair. I have assisted the Project Manager in preparing cost estimates for guardrail repair and upgrading to meet current standards. We are now in the process of procuring subcontractors for the guardrail repair and upgrade.

Project management of ongoing road construction projects. Primarily deal with communication between all internal and external stakeholders for the project. Chase up / run down ongoing issues with the project
