Your role:
As an Aerospace Software Engineer, you'll take on the challenging task of managing the complex software systems that keep Army helicopters running.
Design, construct and test large-scale software systems while project managing complex and mission critical tasks—all with state-of-the-art equipment at your disposal.
In this role, you will join the Army as a junior engineer and have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with military aircraft. You will be responsible for managing a team of technicians that maintain and repair the Army's fleet of elite helicopters—the Armed Reconnaissance Helicopter, Black Hawk and Chinook to name a few.
As you progress, you'll continue to gain training in mechanical, electrical, avionics and armament systems. If you're looking for a challenging but rich and rewarding career, look no further.
Salary:
In the Army you'll get paid a highly competitive salary from day one regardless of your age, experience or qualifications; and your pay increases as you progress through training.
On completion of your initial military training and initial employment training, you could earn $87,989 per annum plus generous super.
