In my opinion, the importance of an internship lies in the career that you ultimately want to pursue. If your future career demands experience, then taking on internships is the right thing to do.

I chose management consulting within health and public service because I really wanted to combine my science and commerce background.

Look for opportunities to explore yourself, and grab every opportunity that knocks on your door, you never know what great things life has in store for you.

If the job description matches what you want to learn and do, then I'll advise doing those internships.

In my opinion, you can never blame companies for paying you very less, entry-level jobs in our country pay less, but I believe if you can have a good CV and you are good at soft and hardcore skills, you can bag good packages as a fresher.
