Application process for the Forestry Corporation Graduate Program in a Nutshell!

Team Prosple

Here at Forestry Corporation NSW, we know that submitting your application can be daunting so here is a guide on everything you need to know about our Graduate Application Process.

About our Application Process

We know a lot of effort gets put into your application and so our Graduate Hiring Team can’t wait to read them. Here is a step-by-step of what you can expect from our recruitment process:

Submitting applications

Complete an online application form and submit your cover letter and resume with any required documents before the closing date deadline.

Shortlisting/Phone Screens

The Graduate Hiring Team will commence shortlisting once applications have been submitted. Shortlisted applicants will be subjected to a 15-minute phone screening which consists of a few questions to gather more information that we didn’t receive from your application.

Interviews

If we’d like to learn more, you’ll be invited to a formal interview via Microsoft Teams. This interview will run for approximately 1 hour and will consist of general and behavioral style questions.

SHL Testing

Selected candidates will be sent a link to undertake graduate psychometric testing.

Meet and Greet

Finalists will be invited to an informal Meet & Greet at their potential location. This will be a chance for you to meet the manger and team while touring the office and its surroundings. It’s important that our graduates have a chance to get a feel of Forestry Corporation NSW and know it is the right match for them.

Pre-employment checks

Successful applicants will then complete required pre-employment checks. (Fire fighter medical, background checks, reference checks etc.)

Offers

Offers will be made subject to passing preemployment checks!
