Your role

You will work with the TikTok Live client team. The TikTok Live client team has been focusing on delivering engaging and the best live streaming experience to global users. Their team develops creative and interesting features for streamers and viewers to express themselves and interact with others instantly. They are looking for passionate mobile software engineers to join the team in this fast-growing industry.

Your responsibilities: 

• Design, and implement the new-user features of the mobile application.
• Collaborate with the design and product teams to create a world-class mobile experience.
• Optimize mobile applications and user experience on the Android platforms.
• Promote robust and maintainable code, clear documentation, and deliver high-quality work on a tight schedule.

About you

Desired qualifications: 

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent majors with experience in native Android development.
• Proficiency in Java or Kotlin.
• Ability to understand and debug large and complex codebases.
• Good team communication and collaboration skills.
• Promote robust and maintainable code, clear documentation, and deliver high-quality work on a tight schedule.
• Livestream knowledge is a plus but not mandatory.
