Your role

This is a unique opportunity to put your electrical engineering degree to use in the maritime industry! Working on large ships you could be involved in a number of projects relating to power systems, automation, combat systems, data & voice communication and radio frequency. 

On any one day, you can expect to:

  • Provide professional electrical engineering design, test, prototype and product support services to their maritime business
  • Undertaking calculations including load analysis, short circuit and protection coordination.
  • Help to provide engineering support to manufacturing activities.
  • Coordinate work with structural and mechanical engineers.

About you

Requirements:

  • Recently degree qualified in Electrical Engineering with a minimum credit average, or be in the final year of completing for graduation 
  • You are a natural leader and this shows through part-time work or extra-curricular activities whilst studying university
  • You easily build relationships and have strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • You love working in a team environment and value diversity
  • You are curious by nature, focused on the result and love to keep continuously learning!
