Your role

As a Bids and Project Manager Graduate at Thales, you will have the opportunity to learn all facets of how a business runs whilst you play an integral role in helping coordinate and prepare projects and bids.

The Thales Graduate Program is a two-year program and can offer a specialist program for you to become an expert in your field. You can expect the following:

  • All graduates are offered permanent roles at Thales Group.
  • Experience multiple graduate days at the Melbourne and Sydney offices.
  • Experience a structured learning and development program to assist you on your journey.

On any one day, you can expect to:

  • Assisting with coordinating and collating bids and tender documentation
  • Support the management of projects and associated activities
  • Gaining insight into contract management and the different models
  • Understand and develop project schedules and plans and play a key role in preparing for meetings
  • Gain insight into risk management and associated activities
  • Understand workforce planning and related activities

About you

Requirements:

  • Recent degree qualified in Engineering, Finance, Business, or a related degree, or be in the final year of completing for graduation
  • You have a keen interest to understand how project-driven business plans and tracking its bids and projects to completion both from a cost and schedule perspective 
  • You have exceptional communication skills and can easily build relationships
  • You are a quick learner who can easily interrupt information and put it to use
  • Your organisational skills are second to none!
