Your role

The Thales Graduate Program is a two-year program. Working in the Melbourne office you will be focused on Airspace Mobility Solutions and act as a key coordinator in the systems engineering team. Your day may include:

  • Supporting the design and documentation of solutions to satisfy the customers needs
  • Assist with coordinating meetings and daily stand-ups to ensure the projects are kept on track
  • Assist with reporting and KPIs requirements
  • Work cross-functionally with the various engineering disciplines within the business to ensure the designed solution is implemented as per the design requirements
  • Assisting in specification reviews and peer reviews of engineering documentation
  • Contribute to continuous process and technical improvements

Career progression

Starting in February each year and spanning two years in duration, the Graduate Program consists of a variety of learning modules in different locations nationally. These are structured training modules, as well as self-directed learning activities, and on-the-job training; giving you exposure to all the different areas of the business. As part of the graduate development program, graduates will also have the opportunity to work in project teams and develop innovative solutions for business and customer-related problems.

About you

Here’s what they are looking for in this role:

  • You are recently degree qualified in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or a related discipline with a minimum credit average, or be in the final year of completing for graduation
