Your role

This is a business developmental role with the opportunity to learn about the sales cycle from A-to-Z by leading a portion of it. This position will equip you with the fundamentals necessary for any business development role.

Learning Goals

Prospecting & Outreaching

  • Support in data mining and prospecting future clients for TerraCycle, by identifying potential brand partners who need waste solutions for their products, that align with TerraCycle ANZ’s market expansion strategy
  • Support in defining communication methods to introduce TerraCycle to new and existing relationships.
  • Led the drafting of outreach email sequences, used to contact prospective clients via Hubspot & Outlook
  • Draft follow-up emails to drive deals towards closing.
  • Support coordinating future calls/meetings for Business Development Associates.

Projects

  • Assist with creative ways to engage existing business relationships.
  • Review sustainability & industry reports to gather proper information for outreach.
  • Assist on projects to improve efficiencies.
  • Support on pilot projects, e.g. trial or proposed TerraCycle programs.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of key team documents and information management strategies.
  • Other duties as needed.
