Your role

Suncorp’s Technology teams are the engine room of the organisation. Together they lead their Group strategy and drive the transformation of end-to-end customer experience while creating value through digitisation and technology innovation. The Technology teams work collaboratively with each business to deliver on their strategic aspirations and operational requirements. This paid program runs from November to February each year with a two-week break during the Christmas & New Year period. 

As a Technology Intern, Suncorp will build an experience for you based on your interests and skill set, providing you with the opportunity to develop core competencies that will empower your career at Suncorp.

Training & development

The Internship Program is a chance for you to gain experience and build real connections, providing on-the-job learning and the opportunity to develop skills to take into the workforce after graduation. It is a twelve-week accelerated development program designed to give you an insight into future career paths and gain exposure to the corporate world. You’ll get to work with some senior business leaders and receive training that’s a mixture of structured and on-the-job aimed at helping you decide where you’d like to grow.

Suncorp Group provides a range of opportunities to support their people’s current and future needs and provides extensive training to elevate them professionally and personally. Their internal training has been designed to ensure everyone receives the right balance of professional, technical and on-the-job learning.

Career progression

Interns who successfully complete the program may be offered a graduate role for the following year! Graduate positions will commence on completion of the study, and in some cases, you may even be offered interim casual or part-time work until you graduate.

To be eligible for the Suncorp 2023/24 Internship Program you must have:

  • Full working rights in Australia or New Zealand or hold valid working right status for the duration of the program (Student Visa)
  • Be currently located in Australia and studying at an Australian university, ideally in your Penultimate year.
  • Minimum ‘pass’ grade.
