What was it that interested you to apply for a career at Service Stream initially?
Initially, I was attracted to the company’s culture and values, followed by its innovative approach to solving complex business problems. Additionally, its reputation for creating a supportive and collaborative work environment aligned well with my personal values and career aspirations.
What's your current role at Service Stream?
I’m currently an IT graduate, working in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system within the IFS team.
What’s your background? (Tell us about yourself)
I did a post-graduate degree in Information Technology, majoring in Data Science. Equipped with foundation knowledge and skills in processing and analysing data sets, I am applying them in real-world scenarios to drive business insights and solutions.
How have your studies helped you in your current role?
Absolutely. Having studied Object Modelling and System Analysis at my university, has equipped me with the technical skills required for some of the tasks to be done within the ERP system, along with a plethora of functional aspects to be actioned upon making it versatile.
What are you passionate about in your role?
It is about being able to solve problems for the users and helping them to understand the issue, rather than just handing them the result. It’s a two-way communication that I enjoy the most.
What is something exciting you are currently working on?
I feel thrilled to be a part of one of the major projects our team is currently working on, along with the self-learning I do; I am currently working on getting certification in Google Data Analysis and next is to get certification in Oracle to hone my technical skills.
How would you describe the culture for a Graduate at Service Stream?
Supportive and engaging; seniors are present to offer one-on-one assistance in resolving encountered challenges, fostering the growth of graduates on both professional and personal levels.
What has been the most empowering moment in your Graduate Journey at Service Stream so far?
Being able to voice my opinion and allowing me to take charge of the critical aspects of business has boosted my confidence. I feel like I have become a better version of myself since I started this wonderful journey of improvement and empowerment with Service Stream.
How does Service Stream help support you as a Graduate in building the foundations of your career?
It has provided me the chance to embark on the initial step in my career journey, and I am confident that it will allow me to evolve and reveal unforeseen aspects of myself and pave the way for a brighter future in my career.
