What are your thoughts on pay and bonuses at your company?
Standard big 4 graduate pay, nothing special here
Graduate, Sydney
Associate pay is very low - makes me regret not going into Tech a bit.
Graduate, Sydney
People in similar roles earn more at other companies
Graduate, Sydney
I dont believe the current pay reflects the economic inflation.
Graduate, Sydney
Pay is very low compared to other accountants, especially considering the working hours
Graduate, Perth
The pay for a graduate doesn't align with the competition (we get paid less)
Graduate, Canberra
I got 0 bonus last year, purely because I wasn't in my position for more than 6 months, and it wasn't actually based on my performance. The increase in pay that I got was 1%, which is 5 below inflation, which is insane when you consider grads coming in to my position would be getting paid the same even though I have 2 more years experience than them and will be coaching them.
Graduate, Sydney
Pay is ok but expected at my level. There will be plenty of opportunities for salary increases later on. I am also able to live on my salary. My partner and I both work and earn approximately the same amount of money. We are able to afford to rent a three bedroom house in a good neighbourhood, two good cars, and we still have money to put aside into savings and investments. So that is really all you could ask for. Very liveable salary. I got a small bonus this year which was also a nice treat.
Graduate, Perth
Pay wise I appreciate I am a junior and therefore, in light of this very satisfied at this stage.
Graduate, Sydney
For the amount of overtime needed, pay is not great. Also did not get an inflation-indexed raise.
Graduate, Perth
Accounting firms always have the lowest pay and highest volume of work lol.
Graduate, Sydney
Good for starting salary
Graduate, Melbourne
Grateful for the pay start as a graduate.
Graduate, Melbourne
Obviously everyone always wants more but when you're a grad and the pay is good enough thats all you need. I know the pay will go up nicely as I move up the ranks and my future opportunities improve greatly with the experience and training I'm gaining. Would also think the bonuses could be slightly better.
Graduate, Melbourne
the pay is fairly ordinary
Graduate, Sydney
pay rates are lower than anticipated
Graduate, Perth
Not the best paying job for the hours worked.
Graduate, Sydney
Not the best, but could be worse.
Graduate, Adelaide
What are your company's best or most unusual perks? For example: free tickets, free dinners, moving expenses, taxis, pension, etc.
Partner discounts, wellness benefits (money to spend towards health related activities) and lifestyle benefits (money to spend towards hobbies, etc.)
Graduate, Sydney
None of these - something else that could be improved on
Graduate, Sydney
We get birthday leave and graduate leave. We also get free barista coffee and a drink fridge of an array of juices and soft drink. There is also a 'chocolate trolly' every friday in the office.
Graduate, Canberra
free dinner after an audit, this has happened once. Ubers if you work past 10pm.
Graduate, Sydney
We get wellness benefits. Approx $500 to spend on wellness activities such as books, yoga etc. which is wonderful.
Graduate, Perth
We don't really have any. We have a wellness benefit but most companies fully pay for a gym membership or give you access to a gym which is worth a lot more. We don't get lots of free dinners unless its engagement leader approved and significant overtime is worked.
Graduate, Perth
Perks are actually quite good, very satisfied.
Graduate, Sydney
