What will you be doing?

  • Ensuring all delegated administrative and processing activities are completed according to documented procedures and agreed timeframes
  • Accurately identifying members’ needs and ensuring they are made aware of the products and services which meet them
  • Maintaining accurately compiled fraud files and processing reimbursement in accordance with the agreed timeframe
  • Effectively communicate with members, and other teams within Police Bank in handling all enquiries and ensuring appropriate follow-up is actioned

  • Higher School Certificate

  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office Applications
  • The ability to analyse and problem-solve in the context of change and continuous improvement

Various ad hoc tasks as well as offboarding and liaising with stakeholders both internal and external on projects and tasks. Heavy use of LMS system daily which I run reports and assign training on.

Pros and cons of working at Police Bank

Pros

  • Nice culture, everyone is very welcoming and management seems to have a genuine interest in my career.

  • General exposure to a number of different areas of business as it is a smaller business than large corporations.

  • The opportunity and exposure to work on multiple projects.

  • The work culture.

  • The team culture is great, and overall a nice work environment.

Cons

    • I'd say the only negative would be the salary being quite low in comparison to the industry average and for my department there being limited progression to a higher role.

    • Smaller business also comes with more workload when taking on additional tasks.

    • The salary is very low
