Your role

Key responsibilities are as follows:

  • Assist the Remote Monitoring team in collecting hydrological, meteorological, environmental, and asset-monitoring data
  • Work in Gowrie Park, contributing to Hydro Tasmania's data services
  • Participate in on-the-job training and formal training with the Australian Hydrographers Association

About you

Ideal candidates will:

  • Have completed a High School Certificate (Year 10 or higher) and possess or be working towards a manual driver's license
  • Be passionate about teamwork, demonstrated through work experience, school studies, or extracurricular activities
  • Enjoy working outdoors and be willing to travel to remote sites across Tasmania
  • Be proficient in computer skills, particularly with the Microsoft Office suite
  • Commit to Hydro Tasmania’s vision of ‘No Harm to anyone, at any time’

Compensation & Benefits

The role offers a salary range of AUD 47,134 to AUD 68,638 plus superannuation and area allowance. Flexible work arrangements and a supportive, inclusive workplace are also provided.
