I had my interview stages during Covid so I had to wait for long periods of time between each stage, but overall it was well carried out by the HR team.

The interview process and assessments were group-oriented, which was very engaging and great to collaborate with other people

Clearly comminuted and explained. Everyone is given an opportunity to answer questions and also ask questions. Structured really well from online video interview to in store group assessment.

It was good. Video interviews and then face to face, to a final selection. It was fair.

Mainly about my hobbies, and why I see myself with the company. Also asked to sell some items to the interviewees.

Just be yourself, and know how to interact with customers.

Understand the Harvey Norman business model and the importance of an excellent working culture. Practice scenarios in the retail situations with how you would deal with unhappy or objectionable customers.

Read up on the company background and where it all began. Be yourself and care for your peers.

I would probably tell people to have the three qualities that Gerry Harvey believes people should have. One of them is being likeable. Have that ability. Hard working, willing to go the extra mile and quick learner.
