Clean, tidy, warm - mostly. Often doesn't have cutlery and could do with better coffee. Provides good standard though
Graduate, Palmerston North - 05 Aug 2022
Smart casual or even just casual is fine usually

Office has a good location and facilities. Dress code is appropriate.

Great office facilities, relaxed dress code.

Good facilities. At the head/project offices the dress code is a little formal but not excessive. In site office, virtually no dress code.

So far, I've worked in a depot office and a university office, which are decent working spaces. The locations are relative to the worksite and the facilities are also practical. Dress code is usually smart casual, split between office attire and Downer corporate attire.

Location is great for me, as I am only a 15 minute drive from the office. Facilities work well, the only issue is that the Fraemohs building (chch) does not have bathrooms which can be a bit miserable in bad weather. Dress code is typically smart casual at a minimum, although it is expected that you dress appropriately if there are any client meetings etc.

There is a lot of empty desks (COVID hasn't helped with this) in the Christchurch depot. The different wings don't really interact with each other.

Dress code is tidy. working on site it leans towards the practical side also. working on site also results in the offices being portacoms which are up to standard and workable.
Graduate, Nelson - 03 Aug 2022
Clean toilets, clean and good sized kitchens. Desk space is an issue.

I can't really speak about the main Downer office because I'm not located out there but in the link Alliance office (where I'm located), the space here is very nice and accommodating. dress code is quite relaxed so you can wear sort of office attire or just smart casual gear.

The company offices are pleasant to work in and have the basic facilities like restrooms, lunchrooms, carparks, etc. Also, the dress code is generally long shirts and long pants in the office. Usually shoes varies between work boots and sneakers/dress shoes.
