Sustainability at Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (PM&C)

The department has solid waste management practices to support sustainability, including three-bin systems in all kitchens, can collection bins, and simply cups disposal units for takeaway coffee cups.

No particular initiatives, lots of printing still going on in more protected zones, very old-fashioned there, more modern in less secure areas. Recycling everywhere.

Recycle and organic bins in most places

I think more said than done on this - could be better.

There are recycling bins available. Reminders for staff to minimise water usage.

Paper is still a large part of the processes - but there have been some changes in light efficiency etc.
