2022 School Psychologist (Rolling Intake)

The role is based in Townsville and the role will be based in one of the local schools. The successful candidate will be required to build connections with students, staff and caregivers within the school setting.

We know that early intervention is key to reducing the impact of mental health problems and mental illness and that schools play an important role in early detection and provision of support. This role comes from the Queensland Government's commitment to providing well-being and mental health support to students in response to a rise in the prevalence and complexity of children and young people's mental health concerns.
