Please describe your company's culture both in the office and after hours. Let us know about the structure and hierarchy, cooperation and teamwork, and socialising amongst colleagues.
It's good. People are nice and supportive and there are plenty of activities on both during the work week and afterwards.

Long working hours and high work load but it's rewarding and you're always learning a lot! Never boring.

During working from home, the company has invested a lot of time into virtual development and social activities. You are always encouraged to socialise and network with your colleagues inside and outside of work hours.

Great culture - lots of informal catch ups and check ins Mental health is really a big focus and encourage us to block out time during our day for our own time e.g. going for a walk After hours social activities are great and depend on your team / work social group - lots of friendly faces around.

As we are all working from home, a culture of flexibility has been great. The culture of understanding for each person's unique wfh situations is fantastic. Each team has weekly check ins at least to see how everyone is tracking, not just on the work front but personally given the 2nd lockdown.

I work in a supportive and fun team.

There is a very good culture at Coles. Flexible working hours and arrangements are encouraged. There is a lot of cooperation amongst the teams that I have worked in, with team members working together when necessary to deliver results. Especially during this time, there has been a conscious effort made to have regular catch ups with the team and group activities have been organised for the teams to stay connected.

Fantastic. We have access to all team members, as Coles has a flat hierarchy. We are able to reach out to General Managers, Heads Of or even Chiefs when and if we need.

Company on the whole is friendly with a few exceptions as is often the case. Leadership is very friendly, again with a few exceptions.

Great work culture, with strong focus on customer orientation and standards. Team morale is great.

Fairly flat hierarchy. In the sense that it is easy to have a chat with your Head Offs.

Quite hierarchy overall but good team hierarchy. Lots of teamwork and some socialising amongst colleagues. Lots of company-wide events which is good for the culture.

I think the culture is great. Everyone I've worked with so far has been very helpful and encouraging, especially when it comes to graduates. There are lots of social events set up for us and the environment is relaxed while being very fast paced.

Social connection especially during COVID-19 has been valued. The grad team have been great also in ensuring we still develop that social connection with other graduates despite not being in the office together.

During office hours - Everyone is professional - Friendly - Happy to lend a helping hand Out of office hours - Can get along and genuinely become friends - Not afraid to have a bit of a laugh.

The company culture is the best part. I feel as comfortable talking to my General Manager as I would my peers. The grad program is a lot of fun, the office itself is a lot of fun. I've felt nothing but supported to do a good job and succeed since the moment I came to the company.
