Assistant in Nursing - $57,000 - $63000 per year (based on years of relevant working experience as an AIN)
Student in Nursing - $58,000 - $59000 per year
Graduate Registered Nurse - $72000 per year
All wages are correct as of the 1st of April 2020 and do not include shift penalties or weekend/public holiday rates.
Employment as a Registered Nurse within the Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service will allow many opportunities for work in rural and remote hospitals within the health service and beyond.
Wages automatically increase on an incremental basis every 12 months until they reach the respective pay grade's ceiling.
