The Role

Our Melbourne Studio runs a robust graduate mentoring program that provides the practical experience and professional knowledge needed to prepare for registration.

The ideal candidate for this role will possess design capabilities, an understanding of technical applications and will offer the team support in contract administration and across all phases of the design process, from concept through to construction stage services. You should be able to work effectively in isolation and as part of a larger team.

Working under the direction of a supervising architect, you will develop a solid foundation of knowledge across all project stages including client briefing, concept design, design development, documentation, consultant coordination, and delivery.

A minimum 2 years’ post graduate experience in an Architectural practice is essential, and availability for immediate start is preferred.

About You

EXPERIENCE

  • Master of Architecture/approved architectural degree
  • 2 years’ post-graduate working in Architectural studio
  • Experience working on commercial architecture projects in retail, hospitality, high-rise residential, or mixed-use is desirable but not essential

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE

  • Blossoming design skills and undeterred creativity
  • Skilled in Revit/BIM, CAD
  • Understanding of the Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Knowledge of project documentation, production and coordination requirements
  • Presentation and communication skills
  • Developing project management skills
