I know that there are efforts in place such as water reduction, etc but probably something that I cant comment on with much knowledge.

A great example was a challenge I was lucky enough to be a part of and win, where we were developing solutions of how to donate excess ship material to trade schools and educational facilities which provides copious environmental benefits.

In particular for the industrial/manufacturing sides of the business, there are very strict policies in place to help safeguard environmental impacts.

The company tries to use materials and supplies which are better for the environment. They also sort their rubbish in the kitchens into 4 different rubbish types. One thing I really appreciated was their switch from paper cups to mugs for tea and coffee. They bought a lot of mugs to reduce wastage.

Recycling is about as far as it goes (that I am aware of) and some people in my office struggle with even that.

Sensor activated lights in office, waste, recycling and compost bins, no single use cutlery crockery etc.

Environmental factors are considered thoroughly in all projects and proposals etc. No specific enviro initiatives I have been a part of yet, but I see no reason to suspect they would not exist.

Efforts I've seen around the office include better recycling, replacing paper cups with mugs and energy conservation initiatives. I've heard of others but don't know much about them.
