      Indigenous Legal Internship Program:

      Allens is currently accepting applications for our Indigenous Legal Internship Program across the firm's Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth offices. The program, which has been running for 16 years, is an opportunity for second-year law students and above to find out more about working in a commercial legal environment. Previous interns have gone on to become paralegals, clerks and graduates at Allens.

      The program will run in person, subject to COVID-19 restrictions, from Monday, 28 June to Friday, 9 July 2021 in all locations.

      As part of the Indigenous Legal Internship Program, you'll have the opportunity to:

      • meet our partners and lawyers;
      • join a practice group, where you'll be allocated a buddy, a mentor and a performance coach;
      • learn about the work we do and get practical experience of what our clients want; and
      • hear tips on our clerkship process and what life is like as a graduate at Allens.

      We encourage interested Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander law students to submit an application via the 'apply now' button below by 11:55 pm (AEST) on Friday, 21 May 2021.

      If you have any questions or require further information, please contact Lisa Millar, Early Careers Manager at student.careers@allens.com.au
