About ALDI Careers

Since ALDI Careers opened its first Australian store in 2001, they’ve become one of the fastest-growing retailers in the country. With over 500 stores nationally and a rapidly growing network worldwide, it's safe to say they have shaken up the supermarket industry. In just a short time, they’ve managed to become one of Australia’s top ten retailers; influencing grocery prices, improving the perception of private label goods, and introducing a number of innovative market initiatives.

Your role

The Graduate Safety Specialist role is unique. Although it sits within the centralised Safety department, the Graduate Safety Specialist isn’t at the coal face of the business. Instead, you will be the central liaison and technical support for the regional safety teams across QLD, NSW, VIC, SA and WA. Rather than being on the road, you’re based at the Head Office in Minchinbury and are responsible for the execution of the national safety strategy.

This role provides the successful candidate with a large-scale opportunity to impact the safety of over 14,000 ALDI employees through the development of safety reporting, KPI dashboards, and projects geared towards the standardisation of WHS processes. If you thrive off stakeholder engagement, project management and large-scale continuous improvement initiatives - This is the role for you!

  • Develop safety reporting, KPI dashboards and complementing insights
  • Provide technical guidance and continuous support to senior management and the regional safety teams with respect to WHS and injury management matters
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders through consultation, training and development, which may include occasional interstate travel
  • Complete a variety of project tasks on time, on budget, and to a high standard

Training & development

Working at ALDI Careers can be a challenge - tight deadlines, rapid growth, and high expectations. But to ensure you succeed all our employees participate in comprehensive training programs. The programs are challenging and demanding but if you’re ready to put in the work, they’ll give you everything you need to achieve your career goals. They have programs for every role. Read more.
