Your Role

The company is seeking a motivated Junior Accountant to join its Finance Team and support various accounting processes, with a primary focus on Accounts Payable. This is a 3-month contract role, available for immediate start, with the possibility of extension or a permanent position, based at the Bowen Hills Support Office. While the role is full-time, the company is open to accommodating the candidate’s study schedule if needed.

The Junior Accountant will join a team of eight in a casual and fun environment, working alongside passionate, highly engaged professionals. Success in this role will require strong attention to detail, effective time management, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.

Reporting to the Accounts Leader, the Junior Accountant will also work closely with the Financial Controller and Finance Leader. Key responsibilities include processing a high volume of invoices and payments for both domestic and international suppliers, managing the accounts inbox, handling general office administration, and supporting the offshore team with various accounting processes. This role is ideal for someone studying accounting or finance, or someone with 6 to 12 months of basic accounting experience.

Compensation & Benefits

The position offers a salary range of $70,000 to $75,000.
